Eye tracking is a technique where special hardware is used to monitor where the eyes of the end user are looking when moving around a Buzz 3D environment.  Eye fixations (dwell time, when an eye stops moving to focus), and eye-motion are recorded within our Buzz 3D FootStep™ data capture module. The data is catalogued and stored ready for post-session analysis in your choice of statistical analysis package.

Buzz 3D offers a Full Service, partnering with industry-standard eye-tracking solution providers, and integrating their hardware seamlessly into our 3D software. Eye-tracking technology’s advantages are manifold - enhancing consumer research relating to product design, evaluate how attractive a product is to the eye when placed alongside ‘standard’ designs from major competitors, or to prove the effectiveness of proposed Brand makeovers to refine design changes in the Virtual World, avoiding unnecessary expense and prototyping of the real.
