The VideoChat interface comprises 4 main sections as indicated.
These are briefly explained below.
1. Participants and Address Book list
VideoChat contains a useful Address Book of all your contacts - family, friends, colleagues etc for quick and simple calling.
Any number of people can be added to your Address Book making it a very intuitive and straightforward way to getting in touch.
By "dragging" contacts or groups of people from the Address Book a call can be quickly setup between you and your friends.
2. Address Book controls
The Add, Edit, Delete and Call icons are all related to people in the Address Book and making a call.
The License icon allows you to upgrade your VideoChat to an annual VideoChat subscription and/or to VideoChat Plus.
The Help icon offers assistance should this be required.
The BuzzMail and Conference Recording tabs are disabled in VideoChat as this functionality is only available in VideoChat Plus.
3. Your image
In order you know what you look like to other people, your video image is displayed when on the My Camera tab.
The Notebook and Options tabs allow you to take notes and add them to each person you contact and allow you to fine tune settings within VideoChat respectively.
Logging in and out of VideoChat accounts is controlled via the Options tab.
4. Incoming image
The video image and name of the other people you are contacting are displayed in these windows.
For users of VideoChat you are only able to contact one other person at a time, however, VideoChat Plus has no limit to the number of people you can contact at any one time, other than the limitation of bandwidth.
