The VideoChat Plus interface comprises of 3 function tabs - Address Book, BuzzMail and Conference Recording. Each tab is outlined below.
VideoChat contains a useful Address Book of all your contacts - family, friends, colleagues etc for quick and simple calling.
Any number of people can be added to your Address Book making it a very intuitive and straightforward way to getting in touch.
By "dragging" contacts or groups of people from the Address Book a call can be quickly setup between you and your friends.
The Add, Edit, Delete and Call icons are all related to people in the Address Book and making a call.
The License icon allows you to upgrade your VideoChat to an annual VideoChat subscription and/or to VideoChat Plus.
The Help icon offers assistance should this be required.
BuzzMail and Conference Recording tabs are active only for VideoChat Plus subscribers (see functions below).
3. My Camera
In order you know what you look like to other people, your video image is displayed when on the My Camera tab.
The Notebook and Options tabs allow you to take notes and add them to each person you contact and allow you to fine tune settings within VideoChat Plus respectively.
Logging in and out of VideoChat Plus accounts is controlled via the Options tab.
The video image and name of the other people you are contacting are displayed in these windows.
There is no limit to the number of people you can contact at any one time, other than the limitation of bandwidth.
BuzzMail
Record & send, as well as receive & play, audio and video messages to other VideoChat Plus subscribers.
BuzzMails are private and they can ONLY be viewed by the intended recipient.
You can choose from 6 quality settings, unless pre-determined by the recipient (this will mostly be determined by the size attachments that their email account allows).
You can send an unlimited number of messages, there are no limitations.
Conference Recording
Want to save a meeting, party or other special event, no problem simply use the Conference Recording tab to start and stop recording as you wish and save in a convenient place for playback at a later date.
You can even email copies of the meeting to others - and save having to take notes!
